Tips for claiming damage to or loss of baggage

If there is a problem with your baggage, the most important thing is not to leave the airport without filing a claim at the airline's baggage counter or the baggage service provider's counter. A Baggage Irregularity Report (PIR) must be completed and you will receive a reference number. When completing this procedure, try to provide as much information as possible and a detailed description of both the baggage and its contents.
