In fact, as a whole, northern Thailand and Bangkok scored much higher than the country's southern destinations, far outperforming them in terms of concern for safety when walking alone at night. 3.Montevideo, Uruguay Closing the ranking of the safest cities for digital natives is a large city in the Americas. The Uruguayan capital, Montevideo, ranked first in all factors related to women's rights, as well as in the perception of friendliness for both women and foreigners. The proportion of digitally naive women to men in the city is only slightly lower than the study average, at 17%. Montevideo scored lower than the other two top-three cities in terms of how safe women feel walking alone, but is still well above the study average.
