Milan, Rome and Paris: Where is it cheaper to park?
Parking in major European capitals can be a real challenge, both due to high demand and prices. Parclick has analyzed the evolution of rates in some of the main European destinations and has identified where it is cheaper to park in 2025, revealing significant differences between traditional parking lots, low-cost services and valet parking.
In Milán, the real surprise is the valet service at the airport. After the airport's low-cost option, which stands at 0.33 €/hour, the valet –with a cost of only 0.85 €/hour– presents itself as the most attractive alternative.
This rate is considerably lower than downtown parking (1.60 €/hour) and the low-cost option at train stations (1.46 €/hour), proving that having a valet park for you doesn't have to be an additional expense.
In París, low-cost airport parking sets the standard at 0.36 €/hour. However, for those who value convenience, valet service is offered at 0.48 €/hour, placing it below the city center average (1.98 €/hour).
In contrast, parking at train stations remains on the rise, reaching up to 2.33 €/hour for low-cost and 1.70 €/hour for valet, making opting for valet parking often a smarter and more economical decision.
In Rome, the most expensive option remains parking in the limited traffic zone (ZTL), with a rate of 5.53 €/hour. An increase possibly driven by the Jubilee and growing demand forecast for 2025.
However, and in contrast to these higher prices, low-cost alternatives at train stations allow parking for 2.48 €/hour, a significantly more affordable option.
As for the valet service, the rate at airports remains at just 0.45 €/hour, while at train stations it is offered at 0.57 €/hour, placing it well below the low-cost alternatives and making it the ideal option for those seeking efficiency without sacrificing budget.
