New technological solutions in corporate travel (II): What is a startup for?
Suppliers are focused on enhancing direct sales through online channels and disintermediation, which leads to asymmetries along the purchase chain. The latest paradigm of this global trend is the NDC (New Distribution Capability) protocol, which allows access to bundled airline offers that include additional services. Startups do not necessarily leverage this model. In fact, many of them are integrated into distribution channels.
