Rules on what not to carry in the aircraft cabin
To avoid last-minute surprises, when planning a short or long-haul flight you should check which items are prohibited in hand luggage. Many of them have to go in the hold of the plane and not in the cabin, so it is important to know the regulations. The most probable thing is that in the security control they detect the not allowed ones and they confiscate them. In case of doubt, it is best to contact the airport or consult their website.
The following is a list of items that are prohibited by the various companies or that are subject to special measures:
Fishing rods
In general, fishing rods must be transported in the hold of the aircraft, as they are likely to exceed the maximum size allowed for carry-on baggage. Some airlines allow collapsible fishing poles.
Drills
Both drills and drill bits are considered sharp or dangerous items and may not be carried in carry-on baggage. These items will not pass through security if you carry them in your carry-on baggage.
Tent pegs
Tent pegs are allowed, but only in checked baggage in the hold. In carry-on baggage, they may be considered a potential threat. Weight and size restrictions apply to tents just as they do to regular baggage.
Thick cream
Containers with liquids exceeding 100 ml in volume or a number of containers whose total volume exceeds one liter are not permitted in carry-on baggage. Liquid products are considered to be: foodstuffs with a high content of liquid substances, oils and pasta sauces. Solid foods such as fruit and sandwiches are allowed.
Bacquetball rackets
Bacquetball rackets and bags are not allowed on flights as carry-on luggage because they exceed the maximum size restrictions. It is best to check this equipment.
More than one lighter
Rules allow passengers to carry a lighter on the plane, provided they carry it with them for the entire flight. It is forbidden to carry electronic cigarettes in checked baggage. Lighter gas is also not allowed on flights, nor is refueling.
Drones

Peanut butter
There is a «safe&quoquo; limit as to the maximum amount of peanut butter that can be carried on the plane. To comply with safety regulations, only one jar containing less than 100 ml can be carried as, although it is a food, it is considered a liquid, and could be confiscated by airport security.
Creamy cheeses
Like peanut butter, creamy and soft cheeses are considered liquids; for example, goat cheese and brie. To pass the control without problems, you must respect the permitted limits of less than 100 ml.
Peróxide
