Women increase their presence in the tourism sector globally
The number of women working in travel and tourism has increased significantly, according to a study by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which values the greater opportunities it is generating in the industry for this group, as well as for young people, although it does not say anything about their access to positions of responsibility. Nearly 48 million women work in the sector, which represents an increase of 24% compared to 2010.
