Train fares in Spain fall, while air fares and accommodation prices rise

The train is the only travel option in Spain with lower prices than before the pandemic, reaching historic lows of around 28% lower. In contrast, compared with the pre-covida era, average airfares have increased by 14%, while hotel stays have risen by 11%, according to a report published by Travelperk.
