Tourists perceive a good level of safety in Spanish transportation and hotels
Domestic tourists give a good score to the perceived safety of transportation and accommodation, according to a survey by Braintrust consulting firm. In addition, they are satisfied with the sanitary measures that the industry has put in place. The highest level of sanitary hygiene is in beach establishments and in smaller establishments.
A large part of the traveler's experience depends on the accommodation sector, so hotels, rural houses, apartments and others have had to get down to work and implement all kinds of measures to ensure the safety of their guests.
According to the data provided by Braintrust in its Barometer of Tourism, Spanish accommodations have passed the exam with flying colors.
Measuring this experience by type of accommodation, the highest level of health safety was perceived by visitors to beach hotels and small hotels (8.1).
As for the hygiene, we find as best rated again the small establishments and also the rural hotels (8.5) as well as the beach hotels (8.4).
And, lastly, the best capacity control, which guarantees social distance, was carried out by both urban (7.9) and beach hotels (7.8).
TRANSPORTATION SAFETY
Braintrust has carried out the same measurement of traveler experience at the level of means of transportation, and as with accommodations, they have been highly rated by tourists.
Sanitary safety in the means by which tourists travel to holiday destinations is rated 7.3, while hygiene scores 7.6 and capacity control 6.8.
Both the train and the bus have the best ratings in both health safety (7.6 and 8.0 respectively) and hygiene (7.8 and 7.9) and also in the control of traffic (7.1 and 7.5). On the other hand, traditional airlines and also low-cost airlines have the greatest room for improvement.
