Quota of travelers required to obtain entry visas is lower than ever before
The share of travelers required to obtain a visa to enter a country continues to decline, to the point where it is now the lowest in history. In 2015, 39% of the world's population could travel for tourism purposes (leisure or business) without obtaining a traditional visa before departing on a trip, down from just 23% in 2008, according to a UNWTO report.
