Travel Advisors is nearing 700 million euros in revenue and is preparing for international expansion

The Travel Advisors Guild (TAG) expects to close out 2026 with revenue of nearly 700 million euros, after posting 8% growth. The association took advantage of its 27th "Meeting Among Friends" in Rome?coinciding with its 30th anniversary?to take stock of its progress and outline some of its key future projects, including the promotion of Nativo, the launch of TAG Lab, and its international expansion.

The positive growth of Travel Advisors Guild is driven both by the organic growthof its agencies as on the addition of new partners, including Viajes &Área and Xavi Fernández. This progress will allow the organization to end the fiscal year with revenue approaching the 700 million euro mark.

The outlook for 2027 continues this trend. TAG expects to continue growing sustainably, with growth driven not only by price increases but also by a higher number of transactions, reflecting the increased activity of its agencies.

Nativo, a commitment to luxury travel

Among the strategic projects presented in Rome, the relaunch of Nativo?TAG?s brand specializing in luxury, personalized, and high-end vacation travel?stands out. Currently, eleven agencies are part of the program, which the association intends to expand over the coming months.

The intention is to increase investment in Nativo and progressively strengthen its structure, without ruling out the possibility that the brand may eventually have its own resources to drive its development and positioning within the luxury custom travel segment.

TAG Lab, a breeding ground for new agencies

Another new development is TAG Lab, an initiative conceived as a talent incubator and gateway for a new generation of professionals and companies in the sector. The project will select newly established agencies and offer them a support and mentoring program.

The goal is to support these new business ventures during their early stages and evaluate their potential incorporation into Travel Advisors once the mentoring period is complete. TAG particularly wants to encourage the creation of transgenerational teams, capable of combining the experience of established professionals with new ways of understanding the tourism business.

Portugal and Latin America on the horizon

International expansion is another key growth area for Travel Advisors in the coming years. The organization is particularly focused on Portugal and Latin America, markets where it will explore opportunities to extend its model and expand its network.

The new projects were unveiled during the ?Incontro tra amici. Encuentro entre Amigos?, held in Rome from October 20 to 22. The 27th edition of the traditional Travel Advisors gathering brought together nearly 150 professionals from the tourism sector, including representatives from partner agencies, company executives, and the trade press, in a particularly significant year as it coincided with the 30th anniversary of TAG.

The event combined professional sessions and networking opportunities with various activities to explore Rome, maintaining the philosophythat has characterized this event for nearly three decades: strengthening the relationship between Travel Advisors agencies and their main partners and collaborators in the tourism sector.
