Informal meeting between Forum Business Travel, IBTA and AEGVE at Fitur

The recent edition of Fitur brought about an informal meeting between representatives of Forum Business Travel, the Iberian Business Travel Association and the Spanish Business Travel Managers Association. The three benchmarks of training for corporate tourism in our country exchanged points of view on their activities.

The Confortel stand was the setting for the informal meeting between Natalia Ros, founding partner of Forum Business Travel; Damián Arroyo, president of AEGVE; María Luisa Palet and Juli Burriel, president and manager of IBTA, respectively. The event took place in an atmosphere of great cordiality.

Since its creation in 2010, FBT has expanded training opportunities for Spanish travel managers with bimonthly sessions in Madrid and Barcelona in which it has developed specialized content, promoted professional networking and provided knowledge to the sector. Forum Business Travel maintains its initial spirit of joining forces for the benefit of travel managers.

With this intention, FBT is open to collaboration with IBTA and AEGVE, as well as other prestigious players, such as Meeting Professionals International (MPI), entity with which it is developing an official course to grant the official title in management of business travel and international events.

According to Natalia Ros,“we are three organizations working hard to bring value to corporate travel managers. Each one in its own style offers qualified training. The current situation requires a joining of forces to be able to take on new projects and achieve better results.
