II OBSERVATORY OF TECHNOLOGY: 1.- Approval processes

The vast majority of companies (85.8%) subject travel to an internal approval process, especially those with larger annual budgets and more traveling employees. Although the unfinished business remains the integration of travel approval into the purchasing process, there is considerable progress towards automation of approval procedures.
