IBTM World will set up an exclusive space for Spanish companies
The big event of the MICE segment in Europe is just around the corner. IBTM World will open its doors at the Fira de Barcelona from November 29 to December 1 with some new features this year, including the creation of an exclusive space for Spanish companies.
The organization responds to the demand of international buyers who attend the fair to meet with the MICE sector of our country. In the ‘Pabellón Español’ Spanish companies can have their own stand or participate as co-exhibitor with other entities.
And in fact, some 3.000 buyers and visitors professionals who attended IBTM World in 2015 said they had attended to meet with the Spanish MICE sector and this demand is expected to increase this year. According to the latest statistics from Euromonitor, Europe hosts half of all international association meetings and Spain is a key international market, ranking at the top of MICE arrivals in Europe.
Therefore, the fair's organizers have decided to increase the exhibition options for Spanish companies this year. In addition to the possibility of having its own stand or participating as a co-exhibitor with the tourist offices or Conventions Bureau, IBTM World has created the ‘Pabellon Español’, an exclusive area for the Spanish market and with a turnkey product without having to worry about any additional costs.
In this sense, the fair offers a ‘package’ to each exhibitor with its own space of four square meters inside the Pabellón Español, furniture, electricity, graphic material on the walls, Wi-Fi, two exhibitor passes and a personalized agenda of up to 42 pre-scheduled appointments. An ‘All inclusive’ price of ?4,950.
In addition, all exhibitors will also be able to benefit from the IBTM World Knowledge Program which includes a series of Spanish-speaking educational sessions, and the chance to do networking with some of the 15.500 industry professionals from more than 150 countries who attend the show each year.
