IATA tests new payment method for airline tickets

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has recently conducted the first airline ticket purchase transaction using a new payment system: IATA Pay. The pilot test was conducted with a financial technology company based in the United Kingdom. The system is based on a European Commission directive.
