Great success of the practical course on generative AI in business travel given by FBT&E
The Generative AI course applied to business travel has been a success. A total of 24 professionals from the tourism sector received their diploma last Friday, issued by Forum Business Travel & Events, after two intense and eminently practical days in which they were able to try numerous useful tools for their day-to-day work with experts such as Néstor Guerra and Consuelo Verdú, from NCompany.
The training held on May 8 and 9 at the NH Collection Eurobulding hotel combined theory (just enough), masterclasses and guided exercises to demonstrate how generative artificial intelligence can improve efficiency and productivity in the management of corporate travel.
The program addresses the basics of machine learning and introduces the main generative AI tools on the market. The group taught practical cases applied to Business Travel, such as search and analysis of market information, content generation (reports, documents and multimedia presentations) or preparation of tenders.
In addition, attendees learned how to develop virtual assistants, avatars and podcasts to optimize the management of corporate travel. The course also includes a decón with good practices for the responsible use of AI in the office and a module on future trends.
Nástor Guerra, co-founder of NCompany and one of the course instructors, highlights the impact of generative AI in the industry, which “isá revolutionizing corporate travel management by automating complex content analysis and generation tasks, and providing valuable data for real-time decision making”.
For their part, Natalia Ros and Óscar García, founding partners of Forum Business Travel & Events and organizers of the course highlight the good reception of the workshop: “The enthusiasm of the attendees and the speed with which they have assimilated the practical cases confirm that the Business Travel and MICE sector is ready to adopt these technologies. We have found that the practical approach maximizes learning."
The course was aimed especially at travel managers, corporate travel agents and supplier sales representatives. These profiles, key in the value chain of corporate travel, actively participated in group exercises and dynamics adapted to their professional needs.
One of the advantages of this training is that it can be subsidized through the Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae). The program includes a total of 10 hours of intensive training, integrating practical cases, masterclasses and guided exercises, as well as a month of tutoring afterwards to resolve doubts.
Due to the excellent reception of the course and the high level of satisfaction of those enrolled, Forum Business Travel & Events is considering repeating the training in cities such as Barcelona, in order to train more professionals in the sector in the practical use of these advanced technologies.
