Forum Business Travel partners with MPI to launch the official degree in business travel management

The agreement signed by FBT and MPI represents a unique training opportunity for all those involved in corporate travel and events, whether they are travel managers, meeting planners, purchasing decision makers, tourism students seeking specialization, travel agents or corporate account managers of tourism companies.

 

Forum Business Travel is the continuous training platform for corporate travel managers of reference in our country. Through its face-to-face and online channels, it gives lectures, disseminates know-how and generates networking for its nearly 400 members.

“All the dispersed knowledge that gravitates around the business tourism market we are compiling and systematizing it to be able to train qualified experts that professionalize more a function so important in the companies that look for business outside our borders”, comments Óscar García, founding partner of Forum Business Travel.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest association of meeting and event professionals in the world. It currently has more than 24,000 members spread across 68 chapters. Since February 2006, MPI has been present in Spain, where it has around 200 members.

“The strong international presence and the way MPI works will provide this degree with a global vision that will be very enriching for the students; very enriching for the professionals who enroll in the course”, says Jesús María Gómez, president-elect of the Spanish chapter of this association.
