EU citizens will have external assistance at consulates in other Member States.

European Union citizens can now request assistance at the consulate or embassy of any Member State when they are in a destination where there is no representation of their country, according to new regulations that came into force on May 1 and that benefit both occasional travelers and expatriates and residents.
