EMA strengthens its leadership with an intensive training agenda and more professionals involved

Event Managers Association Spain (EMA) closes 2025 as one of the most significant years in its history, marked by the celebration of its 10th anniversary, the sustained growth of its community, and the strengthening of its position as a benchmark for corporate event managers in Spain, according to its 2025 Annual Report.

 

Event Managers Association Spain (EMA) has closed 2025 as one of the most significant years in its history, marked by the celebration of its tenth anniversary and the consolidation of its role as a pioneering community of corporate event managers in Spain. This is highlighted in the association's 2025 Annual Report, which emphasizes a year characterized by intense training, institutional, and international activity, as well as the strengthening of an increasingly cohesive and professional community.

According to María Gómez, president of the EMA, the association has reaffirmed this year "something we have been building for a decade with conviction, perseverance, and a very clear vision: the EMA has been, is, and will continue to be the pioneering community of corporate event managers in Spain," in a context of new initiatives, but where the organization values a model based on seriousness, transparency, and commitment to partners and sponsors.

Among the main indicators of activity, more than 1,100 professionals have participated in the training courses, events, and sector meetings promoted by the EMA throughout 2025. The calendar included more than 20 training and knowledge-building activities, organized into initiatives such as #EMALearn, #EMAinsights, #ThinkMICE, and #EMAtv, as well as networking events such as the Summer Parties and Christmas Parties in Madrid and Barcelona. The association also held three Board Meetings in Córdoba, Madrid, and Ibiza, which helped strengthen internal cohesion and advance the definition of strategic priorities.

International projection has been another focus of the year. The EMA has strengthened its collaboration with entities such as PCMA and GvEM, participated in leading events such as the PCMA EMEA Convening in Rotterdam, and been represented on international juries, including the Heavent Awards, projecting the voice of event managers., and has been represented on international juries, including the Heavent Awards, projecting the voice of Spanish event managers in the global ecosystem.

The association's tenth anniversary was celebrated in Madrid with the #UnexpectedParty, an event that symbolized the innovative, united, and committed spirit of the EMA community. The association emphasizes that this milestone has been made possible thanks to the continued support of sponsors and collaborators, whose trust is based on a proven track record and the ability to generate real value for the sector.

Looking ahead to 2026, the EMA is facing a stage that it considers key to continuing to advance in professionalization, segmentation by industry, and territorial expansion, with the conviction that it will continue to be an essential reference point for those who view events as a strategic tool for transformation.
