In addition, Forum Business Travel identifies new trends in the corporate travel market, highlighting new ways of approaching travel management.

?What can Diners Club Spain contribute to improve the training of Spanish travel managers?
With 58 years of experience as a payment method in the Spanish market, Diners Club is the leading provider of travel accounts. Therefore, we are specialized in the management of corporate travel expenses, and we know the key aspects that a travel manager must take into account when handling these expenses.

? How does the choice of a payment method influence the daily management of the travel account?
Apart from the level of protection of a traveler in terms of accidents or assistance during the trip, the choice of card is a determining factor at the administrative level. The company's ability to account for payments efficiently and with as much detailed information as possible depends on this choice.

What is the average profile of the Diners Club Spain customer?
It is a medium to large sized company, with a significant travel expenditure and which may belong to a national or international group of companies.

"Towards where are evolving the "traditional" means of payment against the new online payment systems?
The traditional means of payment have to concentrate more on the payment in Internet, since it is growing continuously. Security and fraud prevention measures play an important role as well as entailing the need for new developments.

?How does the frequent traveler value loyalty clubs? To what extent can they influence the purchasing decisions of travel managers?
A priori, loyalty clubs do not play a relevant role in the management of a travel account, since they are a centralized payment method used in the travel agency.
The approach is different when it comes to corporate cards used by the traveler to pay for his expenses during the trip. If by including a loyalty program for cardholders, the willingness to use the payment method is going to be higher among employees, the loyalty program may be one of the factors to be considered in the travel manager's purchasing decision. However, loyalty programs can also encourage inappropriate use of the payment method, as the employee benefits directly from the rewards.
