American Express Global Business Travel closes acquisition of Egencia

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has announced the acquisition of Egencia, the online business travel management platform owned by Expedia Group. As part of the transaction, Expedia Group has become a shareholder of GBT. In addition, it has signed a long-term commercial agreement to provide lodging inventory to GBT.
