American Express GBT launches new mobile application for the corporate traveler
American Express Global Business Travel has launched Amex GBT Mobile, a new global app aimed at the corporate traveler. From viewing the travel itinerary to real-time updates on flight status or gate changes, this solution enhances the traveler's on-the-go experience.
The solution is designed to optimize the traveler's mobility and reduce the stress that business travel often entails. According to the 2018 European Business Travel Barometer, conducted by American Express Global Business Travel, the mobile phoneis taking on an increasingly prominent role in the daily life of the corporate traveler as the preferred channel for receiving alerts, making travel changes, checking in or making payments.
Amex GBT Mobile Amex GBT Mobile allows you to view your travel itinerary and the option to share it; receive alerts for delays and cancellations; check in for your flight; receive real-time updates on flight status, gate change and baggage carousel notification; sync with calendar and integrate with map applications; or contact a travel consultant with a single touch if needed.
Another possibility is the integration of messages from Expert Care, American Express Global Business Travel's security solution for geolocation and messaging during urgent or emergency situations in which the traveler may be affected.
Amex GBT Mobile is now available to all American Express Global Business Travel travelers globally,with no additional implementation required. The app is at the heart of the company's global technology strategy and will include new features such as full travel booking in 2018.
