Wi-fi is the most desired feature in rental cars

Full connectivity is what Spanish travelers value most when renting a vehicle, according to a survey conducted by Skyscanner. Therefore, the first of the services added is wi-fi in the car.

 

The wi-fi connection, with 28% of the responses, is at the top of the functions that every rental car must have, according to the survey conducted by the comparator Skyscanner. And it is increasingly difficult to conceive a car journey without being able to check the route, the state of the roads or check the mail.

Another of the features most valued by the Spaniards is the comfort when traveling, and therefore some of the most requested elements allow to turn the trip into an enriching and pleasant experience.

This is the case of 17% of drivers who admit they would like to be able to rent cars with massaging seats, or 16% of respondents who would choose completely reclining seats. For those with a sweet tooth, driving is linked to another of their little pleasures, and they would like to be able to enjoy a nevergreen inside (7%), with a coffee maker (4%) or a candy-dispensing machine (3%).

Another of the main conclusions drawn from the survey is that Spaniards are known for being functional and practical when it comes to choosing the perfect rental car equipment.Thus, the air conditioning (51%) and the GPS (23%) are two of the features that take precedence over other more aesthetic ones, such as a convertible model (3%) or that it has the characteristics of a 4x4 (6%).
