Transhotel and Globalia sign bilateral preferential collaboration agreement

Grupo Transhotel and Globalia have signed an agreement to maximize their synergies and intensify their commercial relationship. The global provider will rely on Globalia's inbound division, while the Balearic group will use Transhotel's global sourcing to complement its portfolio.

The agreement will allow Transhotel, and therefore its thousands of clients around the world, to take advantage of the incoming services provided by Welcome Incoming Service, the Balearic-based division of the group. For their part, Globalia brands will use the accommodation portfolio of the global tourism services provider, comprising 60,000 hotels, to complement their direct booking.

This operation represents a new meeting point between two global Spanish tourism operators with deep specialization in their respective areas of activity and significant opportunities for collaboration.

Julio de la Cruz, chief executive officer of Transhotel, has expressed his satisfaction with the understanding reached between the two companies. The fact that Globalia is relying on our complete and heterogeneous portfolio and we are doing the same with its powerful inbound division seems natural to me. This is a logical synergy, given the characteristics of the two companies and those of the market, which I predict will have a great future.

In the same way, Emilio Rivas, director of the Inbound and Tourism areas of Globalia, has valued very positively this step as a continuation of the close collaboration that has existed for many years between the two companies. I am particularly excited about this agreement because of its importance and scope, a journey that both signatories will experience from the very first moment," said Rivas.
