The next edition of Iberian MICE Forum foresees more than 3,000 business appointments
On March 26, 27 and 28, Madrid will host the 10th edition of Iberian MICE Forums, the consolidated event that in its four years of existence has achieved excellent results in the professional circles of the international meetings and incentives segment.
The hotel Sheraton Madrid Mirasierra, as well as an exclusive selection of venues venues in the city center, will bring together a careful selection of international buyers and Spanish suppliers. In total, some 120 participants are expected.
Among the buyers will be some of the best accounts of meeting & event planners de European markets such as German, French, British, Dutch, Belgian and Scandinavian. The suppliers will be represented by companies from all over Spain, including hotels, chains, conference centers, DMCs, convention bureaus, venues, unique venues, restaurant and catering companies, etc.
For this second edition of Madrid it is estimated that the event will generate more than 3,000 business appointments which, as on previous occasions, will surely lead to business between European buyers and national tourism companies.
The Iberian MICE Forums are characterized by a rigorous control in their working sessions in which they guarantee a certain number of one-to-one appointments of 15 minutes of 15 minutes and by an attractive and effective social program whose primary objective is to provide buyers with first-hand knowledge of the destination, in addition to facilitating networking between buyers and suppliers.
TRAINING SESSION
For the first time, the event will feature a training session on a current topic in the meetings industry, which will be led by the Spanish chapter of the Spanish association Meetings Professionals International (MPI). In addition, the next Iberian MICE Forum will once again be sponsored by the Madrid Convention Bureau, as well as the institutional support of the Spain Convention Bureau.
The Iberian MICE Forums have consolidated as one of the essential annual M&I events in the different destinations of the Iberian Peninsula and its islands where they are held. The purely Spanish approach and its reduced size, together with an exclusive program and personalized treatment, are the hallmarks of these events.
Iberian MICE Forums was established in January 2011 and is made up of two professionals in the meetings and incentives tourism sector: Ana Candel andAndrés Merino, each coming from a different and complementary sub-sector, the incoming agency and the hotel industry. Their creators each have more than 15 years of experience.
