New agreement between Amadeus and Worldpay to simplify payment processes

Amadeus and Worldpay have announced an international agreement whereby both companies will integrate Worldpay's wide range of payment services into the Amadeus Payment Platform (APP).

 

Amadeus customers will thus offer an enhanced experience to their travelers, as they will be able to accept more forms of payment across a wider range of countries and currencies through Worldpay's range of payment solutions.

Amadeus Payment Platform integrates the authorization functions into the ticketing and sales flow and thus enables a fast and secure payment process for all its users. In addition, this solution provides more complete transaction information, which facilitates payment reconciliation.

APP also offers travel industry-tailored features that create a secure payment environment for both travelers and suppliers. A single APP connection provides access to a multitude of payment options, making it unnecessary to integrate other providers and streamlining the process.

Amadeus and Worldpay are also collaborating to optimize the payment process, improve the customer experience and maximize transaction acceptance rates.

Worldpay's portfolio of more than 120 currencies enables Amadeus customers to extend their reach by accepting consumer payments from other regions in their home currency.
