FBT resumes the season with more training contents and with the second edition of the official course

After the summer break, Forum Business Travel has already designed the next training sessions in Madrid and Barcelona, which will deal with the management of travel insurance. In addition, in collaboration with the UNED, FBT has just opened the registration for the second edition of the official course on "Business Travel and International Events".



The training sessions, exclusively for corporate travel managers, will be held in Madrid and Barcelona on October 8 and 10, respectively. With the participation of Raquel Vaquero, travel manager at Gestamp, as keynote speaker, Forum Business Travel members will be able to have a complete overview of travel insurance management.
 
In his development, Vaquero will provide all the keys to the scope of coverage, the main types of insurance, the negotiation process and internal and external communication. The sessions will be completed with the study of practical cases in groups, where participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and professional reflections.

The October sessions are in addition to those held throughout the year, where essential aspects for the day-to-day management of corporate travel, such as quality and the supplier selection process, the role of suppliers, the role of the company's travel management system, and the role of the company's travel management system, have been discussed;The latter as part of the content of the special conference held last May and aimed at travel agents in the corporate segment. The última convocation took place in June, with the slogan “How to position the value of the travel manager within the company”.


As a lúdico event, FBT celebratedó shortly before the summer a unique wine tasting in which many of its partners could share a relaxed evening and enlivened by an extraordinary string trio. This event is part of the objective of Forum Business Travel to build bridges between travel managers that serve to strengthen their ties and share their knowledge, for the sake of greater professionalization of the sector.

With regard to the official qualification in International Business Travel and Events, created by Forum Business Travel together with the International Business Travel Association (IBTA);created by Forum Business Travel together with the distance learning university UNED and with the collaboration of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the registration period for the second edition is now open. The success of the first edition has encouraged the organizers to reconvene the course, of an official nature, which will be held between December 1 and September 31, 2014.

The program provides a comprehensive view of the present and future of business travel, its legal aspects, the management of corporate events, new technologies applied to business travel and management trends and challenges. The course, of 20 ECTS credits, corresponding to 500 teaching hours, is completed with an end-of-course project.The deadline for enrollment is November 13.
