Women Leading Tourism calls for a greater presence of women in managerial positions

The impact of the pandemic on tourism, which, according to the latest projections, has wiped out 143 million jobs in the sector, has been particularly hard on women, who have seen the challenges they already had to face intensify. According to the Women Leading Tourism (WLT) association, whose first event was held yesterday at The Westin Palace Madrid, only 5% of management positions are held by women.
