Forum Business Travel is calling for more effort on the part of companies to disclose the details of their insurance policies.



Business travelers rely on the coverage provided by their companies through the insurance they take out, but in most cases they are unaware of its scope and the procedure when incidents occur. Therefore, Forum Business Travel advises improving internal communication to ensure their safety while traveling.

In the working groups formed by the continuous training platform, travel managers have pointed out the need to coordinate the participation of the departments involved, mainly Human Resources and Finance, to detect the needs of the company according to its geographical presence, the type of travelers and the characteristics of the trips. Among their conclusions, they have highlighted the possibility of negotiating policy conditions with the payment method as the most effective way to save money and improve coverage.
